Adapted from the absurd comic by Samuel Beckett, the film is the first feature by the director.

The story is dark and slow-paced. The protagonist is an unnamed hero roaming the empty and deserted streets of St Petersburg. With a head injury he is released from the hospital and begins searching for a place to stay. Trams trundle into focus, there is no-one inside. He finds a number of rooms with assorted eccentric characters and situations, nevertheless, still has no choice but to sleep in a cemetery. Then he is collected by a slightly deranged prostitute who insists that he live with her. Soon the girl is pregnant at that point she kicks him out into the streets again.

改编自Samuel Beckett的荒诞喜剧，也是导演的故事片处女作。

故事黑暗且缓慢，主角是个没有名字的家伙，他在彼得堡空旷萧瑟的街道上游荡。他头上有伤，刚从医院里出来，想找个栖身地。电车进入人们视线，可里面一个人也没有。他在寻找房子的过程中碰到了许多古怪的人和事，然而他仍然不得不睡在墓地里。后来一个精神轻微错乱的妓女挽救了他，她力邀他同住。不久女孩怀孕了，他又被赶到了大街上。
