Gerard, a dockworker, becomes an emotional wreck following the rape and suicide of his sister. While moping around the streets where his sister died to hunt for the perpetrator who raped his sister, Gerard meets a beautiful young woman Loretta, who cruises the port in a red sports car.  Desperate to pull himself out of his emotional doldrums, Gerard becomes involved with Loretta. Just as Gerard is on the verge of uncovering the identity of his sister’s rapist he finds himself torn between his vindictive girlfriend Bella and the mysterious Loretta.
