Castanets是美国圣地亚哥创作歌手Raymond Raposa的一支忧郁的前卫民谣乐队。 Castanets制作黑暗的带有西部色彩的挽歌似的音乐——既悲伤又美丽，采用民谣、乡村和南方哥特风格民间音乐，并借鉴了从Lou Reed到Jeffery Lee Pierce的一系列作品。乐队的首张专辑Cathedral将单纯的乡村民谣主题跟恣意的迷幻音乐混合在了一起。

Brief introduction

Castanets is the moody, avant-folk vehicle for San Diego singer-songwriter Raymond Raposa. Castanets make darkly western, dirge-like music--both sad and beautiful, with elements of folk and country and gothic southern balladry, hopping down the road from Lou Reed to Jeffery Lee Pierce. Its first released album, Cathedral pairs simplistic country folk themes and psych production flourishes with mixed results.
