A rebellious ten-year old girl Mala runs away from her proudly affluent parents in town and comes to hide out on an abandoned farm. The caretaker is her former teacher Jaciek. He lives a peaceful life. He does an effort to get a job but bureaucracy leads to absurd situations.

Mala's family tries everything to get her back, but without success. But Jaciek uses his wits and wisdom to slowly persuade Mala to change her mind.

Director Andrzej Jakimowski balances gravity and irony, comedy and reality, in this debut film.

叛逆的十岁女孩Mala从城里的富裕家庭里出逃，躲藏在一个荒芜的农场里。农场管理员就是她以前的老师Jaciek。他过着安宁的生活。他还试图找一份工作，但官僚主义让事情变得荒谬。

Mala的家庭尝试了所有方法想让她回家，但都没有成功。而Jaciek却运用自己的智慧慢慢劝说Mala改变主意。
