Aberdeen is a city in North East Scotland. Set in Norway and Scotland, this lyrical film is  concerned with familial alienation and rehab.

Kaisa is a successful London attorney, whose mother calls from Aberdeen begging her to fly to Norway and collect her estranged alcoholic dad whom she hasn't seen in years. But her father's drunkenness gets them kicked off their flight, forcing them to make the trek in an automobile. The already tense father-daughter relationship gets worse.

When their car has a puncture on the motorway, a truck driver named Clive arrives just in time. Then Kaisa and her father are both compelled to re-examine their relationship and the real reason for their trip.
