A political satire based loosely on Woyzeck by Georg Büchner.
Taghi is meek, good-natured man who lives with his beautiful young wife on his master's land. He is postman and also works as servant for a drunken sheep breeder. He seemingly suffers sexual dysfunction so the vet tries to heal him with the aid of herbs collected by Taghi himself.
Everyone’s miseries take a turn for worse when the educated nephew of the master, a young engineer who comes back from Europe, insists to turn the family property into a pig farm − thus stripping the lord and the veterinarian of their means of living. When Taghi finds out that his wife has unfaithful to him with the engineer, he kills his wife and goes crazy. Taghi is then confined to a mental institution.
