In 1989 an East German mother, a staunch communist supporter, suffers a heart attack and falls into coma before the Berlin Wall comes down. On her recovery, knowing that the slightest shock could prove fatal, her son Alexander strives to keep the fall of the German Democratic Republic a secret for as long as possible. It is up to Alexander to fake reports of Communism activity and triumph. But it's not long before his mother is feeling better and ready to get up and around again......
