A poetic biography of the primitivist artist from Georgia Niko Pirosmanishvili, usually known as Pirosmani. He is a self-taught painter whose paintings can not be understood by the local people. His food shop closes down. He roams the streets of the city and sells his paintings to bars and restaurants but unable to get sufficient money to support life.

The director experiments with color control techniques based on the painter’s style.

格鲁吉亚原始主义艺术家Niko Pirosmanishvili（另一个名字Pirosmani人们更熟悉）的诗意传记电影。他是一位自学成才的画家，但周围的人都不理解他的作品。他的食品店倒闭了，于是在城市街头闲逛，卖画给酒吧餐馆，却挣不出生活费。

导演根据画家的风格进行着色彩控制技术的实验。
