Shuji Terayama was born in Aomori in 1935. In 1970 his "The Emperor Tamato Ketchup" shocked the world with a theme of a children's revolt along Nazism. He died of illness in 1983. This 4-disc anthology collects his 16 films - 15 shorts plus the feature-length director's cut of "Emperor Tomato Ketchup". |
