The first short feature by esteemed Georgian director Otar Iosseliani, was banned by Soviet authorities practically at birth.

A young man and woman fall in love in the city of Tbilisi and move into a small empty apartment. Their love makes the water flow, the electricity run, and the flames flicker on their stove. But it is not enough for them as they begin to envy their neighbor's household appliances and furniture. An ancient tree on a hill is cut down to make more furniture for their now-overstuffed digs. Only the memory of happy days in their old home will bring them to their senses.

这是令人尊敬的格鲁吉亚导演Otar Iosseliani拍摄的第一部短故事片，差不多一完成就遭到苏联当局的封杀。

在第比利斯，一对青年男女坠入爱河，他们搬到了一所空荡荡的小公寓中。他们的爱让水流淌，让电和煤气也正常工作了。但是这还不够，他们开始羡慕邻居家的家具设备。山上的一棵古树被砍伐，为了他们舒适的小窝有更多的家具。只有那些对旧居中快乐日子的回忆能够带给他们恋爱的感觉。
