Yang Tian-yi spent over two years documenting her neighborhood's elderly, who gather on a street corner each day. Old men who are proud of their having constructed China as it is today, find themselves completely ignored by their children's generation. As they reach the end of their lives in hesitation they begin to gripe about their fate. The camera non obtrusively follows their body rhythms, observes their aged physiques, and listens to their chattering and complaints, throughout the four seasons in a dusty Beijing suburb.
