A sad-faced factory worker has just lost his job in a factory. He finds an abandoned baby in a noodle shop with a note promising to pay a monthly fee for the care of the child. The mother turns out to be a young prostitute who is also barely surviving and she eventually moves in with the worker. In the meantime, her pimp, a typical crime boss, soon discovers that he is the father. When the prostitute and the worker refuse to let him have the baby, he takes matters into his own desperate hands.
