導演Dir: 李玉 Li Yu 四個女人，一個夏天。 小群是個在北京動物園大象館當飼養員的30歲同性戀者，與一個開服裝店的女孩小玲同居。 遠在四川的媽媽按捺不住來到北京催促女兒成家，不斷給她安排相親，其中是個帶著孩子的警察張建。 一天，一個頭髮亂蓬蓬的叫君君的女孩來找小群，她是兩年前突然離她而去的戀人，剛搶劫了一家銀行，小群讓她藏進了自己的值班室。 未幾，警察來追查，負責的正是張建，小群取笑他假公濟私，但張建告訴她君君犯的是謀殺罪，四這是她父親。 小玲感覺小群的生活當中有了別的牽挂，有一次看見君君當著小群面前換衛生巾，認定小群有了私情。 小群回家時候發現一缸金魚被全部毒死，小玲也不見了…這是中國第一部以女同性戀?題的地下電影，導演李玉27歲，1996年開始拍攝記錄片，其中記錄短片《姐姐》在國際紀錄片研討會會上獲得國際紀錄片大師佛德烈．懷斯曼(Frederick Wiseman) 等人激賞，其他作品《守望》、《姬別霸王》、《生活在別處》等均在中國紀錄片協會評獎中獲獎。 「我想把一個女人內心真正的痛苦和無奈表達出來，所以有了這部電影。」導演如是說。 An underground lesbian movie from the city of Lan Yu - Beijing Lesbian Story! Xiao Qun works as an elephant keeper at Beijing Zoo while her new lover Xiao Ling runs a small clothes stall in an indoor market. Everything seems cool until the arrival of Qun's divorced mother, who has no idea that her daughter is gay and persisitently urges her to meet prospective husbands. Then Qun's former girlfriend Junjun arrives, now on the run from the police after killing her abusive father. Qun feels compelled to help her, but doesn't know how to explain the situation to Ling. Li Yu, the director, handles the emotional issues with warmth and conviction; she cleverly intergrates the plot and characteres into everyday locations and uses surrounding elements to give her scenes an edge.
