Cai Shangjun's feature directorial debut.

A man in his 50s abandoned his family to go to the city five years ago. When he returns home he discovers that his wife has died and he himself is officially dead -- his son crossed him off the city registry.

The following story focus on the father/son relationships, from conflict to reconciliation. While harvesting rice together with a rented red combine, the father does his best to cherish the son. But it is still difficult for the boy to share his father's inner thoughts.

一个50岁左右的男人五年前离家去了城里。当他回家时发现妻子已经去世，而他自己则也已经“死亡”——他的儿子注销了他的户口。

接下来就是一个关于父子关系的故事了，从冲突不断到互相谅解。在他们开着一架租来的红色联合收割机去收割麦子的过程中，父亲尽可能地爱护着儿子，但对于儿子来说，要理解父亲内心深处的想法仍然非常困难。
